Beef And Vegetable Kabobs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. chopped chives
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    12 mushrooms (about 1/2 lb.)
    12 tomatoes, quartered (or cherry tomatoes)
    6 small onions
    2 medium size green peppers
    2 lb. sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients in a small saucepan.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Set aside 1/2 cup sauce. Use remaining sauce for basting.
    Cut green peppers in 1 1/2-inch squares.
    Place each vegetable on a separate skewer.
    Place beef cubes on skewers.
    Cook only beef and onion kabobs over hot coals for the first 10 minutes, basting with sauce and turning often. Add green pepper kabobs to grill along side beef and onions; brush with sauce and cook all 10 minutes.
    Place mushrooms and tomato kabobs on grill with other kabobs; brush with sauce and cook 5 minutes.
    Remove all kabobs from grill.
    Serve with reserved sauce.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
