Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 pkg. Kraft caramels
    1 c. milk
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix cake mix according to the directions on the box.
    Pour 1/2 of the batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch cake pan. Bake 10 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Meanwhile, melt caramels with 1 cup milk.
    After 10 minutes, pour caramel mix, chocolate chips and nuts over cake.
    Add remaining batter.
    Bake another 17 to 20 minutes. No icing is necessary.
