Ingredients

1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
6 Tbsp. flour
a few grains of salt
2 c. milk
2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. maple flavoring
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, flour and salt.
Put this in saucepan or double boiler.
Add 2 cups milk and mix.
Beat 2 egg yolks.
Add to saucepan, stirring until thick.
Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, vanilla extract and maple flavoring.
Cool and pour in ready baked pie crust.
