Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    2 c. pecans
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except vanilla.
    Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes or until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
    Remove from heat and beat until thick.
    Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
