Slow Cooked Pepper Steak(Crock-Pot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 large green peppers, sliced
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    cooked rice
Preparation
    Cut beef in 3 x 1-inch strips.
    Brown in oil.
    Transfer to crock-pot.
    Combine the next seven ingredients; pour over beef. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or until meat is tender. Add tomatoes and green peppers.
    Cook for 1 hour longer.
    Combine water and cornstarch to make a paste; stir into liquid.
    Cook on high until thickened.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
    Serves 6 to 8.
