Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. cornstarch
dash of salt
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
4 drops red food coloring
1 qt. fresh strawberries
1 baked 9-inch pie crust
whipping cream or Cool Whip
Preparation

Combine cornstarch, salt, lemon juice and 2 cups cold water in a small saucepan.
Stir until cornstarch is dissolved.
Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Add jello; mix until jello is dissolved.
Add food coloring. Place strawberries in baked pie shell.
Pour the glaze over the berries; let stand 10 minutes.
Chill in refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours.
Top with cream.
