Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. instant rice
    chicken, cooked and deboned, cut into bite size pieces
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can garden peas
    1 c. grated cheese
    sliced mushrooms, if desired
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Layer rice in 8 x 8-inch dish, uncooked.
    Add chicken, cooked and deboned and cut into bite size pieces.
    Spread over rice. Mix soup with pea juice and pour over rice, chicken and peas. Spread 1 cup grated cheese on top.
    Add sliced mushrooms, if desired.
    Cook in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes until hot and bubbling. Salt and pepper to taste.
