Grandma'S Peanut Butter Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1 c. light corn syrup
    3 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1 tsp. vanilla
    powdered sugar
    crunchy or smooth peanut butter
Preparation
    Place sugar, water and corn syrup in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
    Cook without stirring to 255\u00b0. Remove from heat and, while beating constantly, pour in a fine stream into egg whites.
    Continue beating until mixture holds shape and loses gloss.
    Add vanilla.
    Knead in powdered sugar. Roll out on powdered sugar surface.
    Spread with peanut butter. Roll into a log and slice in desired size pieces.
    Freezes well in airtight container.
