Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. walnuts (black or English)
    5 beaten egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter and Crisco adding eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and soda together.
    Add buttermilk and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Fold in coconut, nuts and beaten egg whites.
    Pour in greased and floured pans.
    Use 3 pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
