Roasted Peaches With Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 pound) can peach halves
    12 amaretti (dry almond-flavored macaroons) or 4 almond-flavored biscotti or 12 sugar cookies
    2 Tbsp. dark Jamaican rum or maple syrup
    Frozen yogurt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Drain peaches, reserving 1 cup of syrup.
    Pour the syrup into a large baking dish that holds the peaches in a single layer,
    Crumble the cookies and moisten with rum or syrup.
    Fill the cavities of the peach halves with the cookie mixture.
    Cover with foil, bake for 20 minutes.
    Serve hot with frozen yogurt.
