Taco Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1/2 pkg. taco seasoning
1/2 c. water
1 can tomato sauce (large or small)
12 taco shells (or less)
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 can kidney beans
salt and pepper
lettuce, chopped
Cheddar cheese, grated
chopped tomatoes
sour cream (optional)
Preparation

In large frypan, brown meat with onion and green pepper.
Add taco seasoning, water and tomato sauce.
Heat thoroughly.
Crumble taco shells and add to mixture.
Add tomatoes and kidney beans. Salt and pepper to taste.
Spoon into baking dish.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
Top with lettuce, chopped tomatoes and sour cream, if desired.
