Stuffed Grape Leaves - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef or lamb
1 beaten egg
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1 tsp. fresh mint or 1/2 tsp. dried
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/4 c. water
salt
pepper
dash of lemon juice
1 jar grape leaves
Preparation

Mix together all ingredients, except grape leaves. Wash leaves; remove stems. Put 1/4 to 1/2 cup mixture in each leaf and roll, tucking in ends. Place in one layer in shallow baking dish; pour in small amount of water or chicken broth to prevent sticking. Cover and simmer in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
Serve warm or room temperature.
