Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
3 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 c. cooked prunes
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs.
Mix all dry ingredients, except soda, and add soda to buttermilk.
Add buttermilk and dry ingredients alternately.
Fold in prunes, nuts and vanilla.
