Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 small onion, chopped
1 small can whole corn
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
pinch of garlic salt

Preparation

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. May need extra milk to get correct thickness. Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil and deep-fry.
