Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. melted oleo
    1 lb. squash, sliced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimento
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. shredded American cheese
Preparation
    Put squash in buttered casserole.
    Mix other ingredients and pour over mixture.
    Cover.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
