Basic Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. maple extract
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cook all, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir until it begins to lose its gloss.
    Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.
    If it becomes too thick, reheat slowly.
    Real easy.
