Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    3 cans diced stewed tomatoes
    1 can hominy
    1 (4 oz.) can mild chopped green chilies
    1 can pinto beans
    1 can dark red kidney beans
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 onion, chopped
    1 pkg. taco seasoning
    1 pkg. Original Ranch dressing mix (dry)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown and drain meat in pan; add remaining ingredients. Simmer 1 hour. Rinse and drain all the beans and hominy before adding them to the meat.
