Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks melted butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 gal. popped popcorn
    nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Boil butter and sugar 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda and mix well.
    Pour all this over popped popcorn.
    Add nuts, if desired.
    Put in cake pan in 250\u00b0 oven for one hour; stir every 15 minutes.
