Pastel Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 small box lime Jell-O
1 small box lemon Jell-O
1 - 8 oz. bowls Cool Whip (thawed)
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Divide batter into 2 bowls.
Add lime Jell-O to 1 bowl and lemon Jell-O to another.
Stir thoroughly.
Pour each into separate wax-paper-lined, greased, and floured 9 inch round cake pan.
Bake 28-30 minutes.
Cool 15 minutes.
Remove from pans.
Cool on wire racks.
Place lime cake layer on serving platter and layer with one bowl Cool Whip.
Top with lemon cake layer.
Frost cake with remaining Cool Whip.
Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
