Rice Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. chopped green peppers
    3/4 c. grated cheese
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    3 c. cooked rice
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine beef, crumbs, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper and 1/2 cup tomato sauce.
    Pat mixture into bottom and sides of greased 10-inch pie plate.
    Combine rice with remaining tomato sauce and 1/2 cup of cheese.
    Spoon into meat shell.
    Bake in moderate 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake slowly for 10 more minutes.
