Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. cucumbers, sliced
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar (I use 1/2 white and 1/2 cider)
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Mix together cucumbers, onion and salt.
    Let stand 2 hours. Add remaining ingredients (do not heat).
    Mix well.
    Put into jars and refrigerate.
    Will keep for months.
