Sandy'S Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 Tbsp. warm water
3 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. sugar (or 3 packets Sweet 'N Low)
2 c. buttermilk
5 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar together.
Cut in shortening.
Add yeast and water mixture and the buttermilk.
Roll out and cut into biscuits. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
They may be frozen and popped into a hot oven just before serving.
