Creamy Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    4 c. chicken broth
    dash of black pepper and thyme
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. beef granules or 1 beef bouillon cube
    2 c. milk, divided use
    1/3 c. flour
Preparation
    In 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, saut onions in butter. Add broth, pepper, thyme, salt and bouillon. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add 1 2/3 cups milk. Stir flour into remaining 1/3 cup milk until smooth; add to soup. Bring to boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. YIELD: 6 servings.
