Betty'S Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lime jello
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 medium can crushed pineapple
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. chopped red maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Warm to room temperature and beat the cream cheese.
    Drain pineapple, but save juice.
    Use 1 cup of boiling water and 1 cup pineapple juice (water added to make 1 cup) to make jello.
    Add warm cheese and beat it on medium speed on mixer in small deep bowl into the jello until smooth.
    Fold in pineapple, cherries and pecans.
    Turn into 6-cup jello mold which has been sprayed with Pam.
    Chill overnight.
