Steak And Onions - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. steak
1/4 lb. butter
6 to 8 onions, sliced
dash of salt and pepper
2 to 3 Tbsp. sour cream
Wondra flour to coat the meat
1 Tbsp. flour to thicken sauce
1 to 2 c. beef broth or boiling water
Preparation

Cut meat on bias into 1/3-inch thick strips.
Pound meat on both sides.
Using knife, stretch meat strips into oblong shapes. Coat with flour, salt and pepper.
Fry in hot butter on both sides until golden brown.
Saute sliced onions in butter.
Place meat in a heavy saucepan and cover with sliced onions.
Top the onions with sour cream.
Pour beef broth over the ingredients.
Simmer, covered, until meat is tender.
If desired, add 1 tablespoon of flour to thicken the sauce.
