Jan Hagel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. very finely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a jelly roll pan.
    Mix butter, sugar and egg yolk.
    Blend flour and cinnamon into butter mixture.
    Pat into pan.
    Beat water and egg white until frothy; brush over dough. Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cut immediately into finger-like strips.
