Homemade Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 cans stewed tomatoes
    1 small onion, diced
    1 small bunch cilantro
    3/4 tsp. garlic powder
    chili powder to taste
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. paprika
    3 jalapeno peppers
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place stewed tomatoes in saucepan with diced onion; bring to simmer.
    Add all other ingredients, except cilantro.
    While sauce is simmering, dice small amount of cilantro, then put in sauce. Keep it simmering until onion turns transparent.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Makes 1 1/2 quarts.
    Keep in fridge.
    It will stay good for up to 2 weeks.
