Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    5 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. currants
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together.
    Cut in shortening with fingers until crumbly.
    Add milk and currants.
    Mix well.
