Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. thin pretzels, broken up (about 8 oz.)
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 large box strawberry Jell-O (6 oz.)
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix together broken pretzels, melted butter and 1 tablespoon sugar.
    Press into 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes and cool.
    Mix Jell-O, boiling water and frozen strawberries.
    Refrigerate until slightly thickened, but not set. Cream together softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar.
    Add Cool Whip and blend.
    Spread over cooled crust of pretzels.
    Pour thickened Jell-O on top of cream cheese layer and chill until congealed.
    Cut in squares.
