Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    6 cloves garlic, crushed
    garlic salt
Preparation
    Add hot water to tomatoes to make 2 1/4 cups.
    Heat oil.
    Add rice and brown well. Add garlic and onion. Add chopped tomatoes and liquid.
    Simmer, covered, 1/2 hour or until liquid is gone.
