Bass Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh bass chunks
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    2 c. cubed potatoes
    1 c. boiling water
    3/4 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    2 c. milk
    1 c. cream-style corn
Preparation
    Cut fillets into inch-square chunks.
    Saute onions in melted shortening until soft before adding potatoes, water, salt, pepper and fish.
    Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
    Add milk and corn.
    Heat thoroughly and serve.
