Quick Barbecue Beef Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 (18 oz.) bottle barbecue sauce
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 c. Bisquick average or reduced fat baking mix
1 c. milk
2 eggs

Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Cook ground meat and 1/2 cup of the onion in skillet until beef is brown; drain.
Stir in barbecue sauce. Spoon into ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Stir baking mix, milk and eggs until blended; pour over beef mixture.
Sprinkle with remaining onion.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until crust is lightly browned.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
