Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Crisco
    4 1/2 Tbsp. water
    6 apples
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Make a baking powder biscuit dough, roll out one-fourth inch thick.
    Have chopped apples or peaches that cook well, sprinkle on dough, roll up tight, put in baking pan that has in it half cup melted butter, two cups granulated sugar, two cups boiling water. Bake in a moderately hot oven two hours.
    One and a half cups flour for dough, one good pint fruit will serve six people.
