Yellow Banana Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can pineapple juice
    1 large can frozen orange juice, diluted as directed
    6 c. water
    4 c. sugar
    juice from 2 lemons or 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
    5 bananas, blended
    3 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Heat water and sugar until sugar is completely dissolved.
    Mix other ingredients with sugar water.
    Divide equally into 3 containers and freeze.
    Remove from freezer about 3 hours ahead and let base get mushy.
    Pour ginger ale over mushy base.
    Serves 50 to 60.
