Country Style Ribs And Kraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 or 7 lb. country style ribs
3 (1 lb.) cans kraut
1 1/2 c. Granny Smith apples, coarsely chopped with skin on
3/4 c. onion, coarsely chopped
10 whole cloves
1 1/2 to 2 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 c. brown sugar, tightly packed
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Brown ribs on all sides in skillet. Mix all ingredients with kraut with hands. Put in Dutch oven or roaster with lid. Put ribs on top and push down into kraut mixture Bake 2 hours at 325\u00b0 basting twice. Add more stock if liquid gets low; don't let boil away.
