Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix (Butter Recipe)
    2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on box.
    In a large punch bowl, crumble half of the cake.
    Mix 1 box of vanilla pudding; pour over cake. Spoon 1/2 can of pineapple over pudding, 1 can of cherry pie filling over pineapple and 1/2 carton of Cool Whip over cherries. Repeat this process again, then top with pecans.
