Pecan Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. water
    2 c. sifted all purpose flour
    2 c. pecans grated or finely chopped
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter, blend in sugar, salt, vanilla and water. Add flour and pecans. Mix well. Chill if dough is soft. Shape into fingers- like ovals using level tsp. of dough. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar. Makes about 10 dozen.
