Phoebe'S Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    2 c. milk, divided
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla or pineapple pudding
    2 c. crushed pineapple, well drained
    1 large pkg. Cool Whip
    nuts or coconut
Preparation
    Bake cake in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cool.
    Soften cream cheese in 1/2 cup milk.
    Blend well.
    Add rest of milk alternately with pudding in cheese mixture.
    Beat 5 minutes at high speed.
    Pour over cool cake.
    Sprinkle pineapple over pudding.
    Frost with Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle with nuts or coconut.
