Beets In Orange Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. orange juice
    dash of salt and pepper
    2 1/2 c. canned beets, drained
    grated orange rind (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Mix sugar and cornstarch.
    Blend into butter. Stir in juice and cook until thickened.
    Add salt, pepper and beets.
    Sprinkle with orange rind.
    This is an excellent dish for your Thanksgiving meal.
