Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. squash sliced
    2 c. onion sliced
    3 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Combine squash, onion and salt, let stand for 1 hour. Pour liquid off. Mix sugar, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed. Add squash and boil 20 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
