Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 potatoes, cut up
2 carrots, diced
6 celery stalks, diced
2 qts. water
1 sm. onion, chopped
6 T. margarine
6 T. flour
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Cook potatoes, carrots and celery in water until tender. Drain, reserving liquid. Set vegetables aside. In same kettle, saute onions in margarine until soft. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thick. Stir in vegetables. Add 1 cup of reserved liquid. Add more liquid to make desired consistency.
