Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 sliced apples (tart)
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Fill crust with sliced apples; sprinkle sugar, pieces of butter, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Roll upper crust, moisten edge of lower crust on pan.
Cover with pie dough.
Cut openings for steam to escape.
Press edges together with fork or fingers.
Brush top of pie with milk or egg white.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes with foil covering crust at edge only.
Uncover.
Bake about 20 minutes or more, until browned.
