Festive Cherryettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. 10x sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix a soft dough.
    Take 1 teaspoon of dough and form a ball. Press flat.
    Place 1/4 to 1/2 cherry on top.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Double recipe:
    30 small cookies.
    Very good and rich!
