Baked Ham - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 country cured ham
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. vinegar
Preparation

Scrub ham well.
Soak overnight in water to cover.
If large ham soak 3 to 4 days with water changed each day.
Place ham in large pan that will allow cold water to cover ham.
Add brown sugar and vinegar to water.
Cover and simmer slowly 20 minutes to each pound of ham or until tender.
Do not boil; keep at simmering.
Let ham stand in stock several hours or overnight.
Remove from liquid. Mix brown sugar and bread crumbs together and put on top of ham. Brown at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 until crust forms over top.
