Sour Cream Meat Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1.5 lb. pkg. ground beef or turkey
1 Tbsp. shortening
salt and pepper to taste
1 small to medium onion, chopped
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (10 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Brown meat in shortening. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add onion and tomato sauce, simmering 10 minutes. Cook noodles as directed and drain well. Blend cream cheese into meat mixture and fold in sour cream and noodles.
Pour into greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish. Cover with cheese and bake.
