Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 can chopped or French-cut green beans
    1 can green peas
    1 can white corn
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 red onion, chopped
    a few pimento peppers or chopped red or green bell pepper
Preparation
    Mix.
    Bring to a boil and pour over the following drained vegetables:
