Cocoa Pink Cuplets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. cold water
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together flour, cocoa and salt. Cream together the sugar and shortening. Blend in unbeaten eggs and vanilla. Combine the soda and cold water. Add alternately with dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Blend thoroughly after each addition. Fill 20 to 24 muffin pans lined with baking cup half full. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and nuts over cupcake batter. Nuts are optional. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
