Ingredients

1 qt. apple cider
1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. whole cloves
1/2 tsp. whole allspice
1 cinnamon stick
dash of salt
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in 2-quart microproof casserole.
Cook on 50 for 15 minutes or until hot.
Remove spices.
Serve hot, garnished with slices of red apples, if desired.
