Santa Claus Milk - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    1 (2-inch) cinnamon stick
    3 to 4 whole cloves
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. cold milk
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Remove and discard cinnamon stick and cloves.
    Combine sugar and cornstarch.
    Add 2 tablespoons cold milk, stirring until smooth.
    Add to hot milk, stirring constantly.
    Cook about 2 minutes (do not boil).
    Pour into mugs and sprinkle with nutmeg.
