Apple And Sweet Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) can sweet potatoes, sliced lengthwise) or 4 c. sliced cooked sweet potatoes
    2 c. sliced peeled apples
    3/4 c. maple-blended syrup
    1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place 1/2 potato slices in 2-quart casserole bowl or 8 x 10-inch pan.
    Arrange half of apple slices, then rest of potato and rest of apples.
    Combine syrup, butter and salt.
    Pour over potatoes and apples.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Remove cover and continue to bake for 30 minutes or until apples are tender, basting frequently.
    Yields 8 servings.
